I’d be disappointed with anything less than a quarterfinals appearance; ideally we’re still playing for a title come Sunday afternoon.

The Dartmouth contingent rises this weekend, with fully five ’08s on tap. Expect Ballometrics to continue ascending towards the (Chesa)peak(e).

Personally, I’ve been working hard these past two weeks and after a hard few days to start the week have been taking it easy Thursday (and plan to Friday), showing up to Poolesville nice and limber and ready to ball.

The focus remains on defense, which remains my primary contribution at this point (speed is a means to an end).  Lots to tighten up there still, and I can really only do it by cutting my teeth against better competition.  Looking forward to denying easy Buckets and I’m getting AMP’ed up for our last game on Saturday.

Goals:

  • Remain focused on defense. Maintain tight margins on activated cutters, DICTATE WITH THE BODY, stay on the toes on the mark and downfield. Focus on jiving with the system and communication in zone sets.
  • Keep within myself throwing. Take what’s given, but focus on consistency on the easy stuff (step out, no lazy throws–take a breath on throws to women, avoid the overthrow!)
  • Keep the good times rolling off the field and on. Ballin.

Hopefully I can come back and update on several of the teams playing, not just my own and our opponents, but I can’t make any promises since I’ll be playing. Stay tuned.

Between your 5, Seigs, Molly, Myself, Dan, Agan, Rohre, Wheels and Remsen, the Dartmouth contingent will be truly huge.

    We should do something. Clinic?
