Given the lack of feedback I’ve gotten so far I figured I’d make it easy and throw up a survey for the next week.

I can revert back to the old template pretty easily; this one just gives me a little more flexibility (and I think it looks better overall).

A simple “yea” (keep this) or “nay” (change back) will suffice. If you have other comments or thoughts say so: I added an option if you like the look but want the old logo back, too.

Keep in mind things like the collapseable widgets are things I would put into effect in the old template if I reverted; this is purely an aesthetic choice.

(Hat Tip to The Cultimate Opinion for the poll inspiration.)

Maybe this is impossible or not what you want, but I think that having the Comments box directly under the post is better than having to scoll past the “Related Posts by Category” section. Might make it easier to find the comments to read.

Overall, nice job on the redesign.

    Gwen,

Thanks; I’ve been trying to figure out how to place them–I feel like the sidebar can be a little too out of the way…been trying to see if I can compress the related posts widget, but the code isn’t that accessible to intro-CS me.

I’ll keep giving it some thought–will likely be re-tackling some site design stuff over the coming week (got some sloooooow days at work ahead; new school year means lots of intro classes where they don’t need the English Conversation Expert).
