Throwing Thought: Arm Action

This is hard to describe, so I’m going to try to insert some video to clarify (this is via a youtube embed). If this works decently I’ll try doing it some more going forward!

When I talk about arm action, I’m referring to the path your arm leads the frisbee on. Strive to take the frisbee on a straight path when you release it, rather than an arcing path.

    this is exactly the kind of video i wanted to record earlier in the year but never got around to. could you also include footage of you actually throwing for a minute or so? thatd help out a lot to see it in action

    ive been doing those summer workouts lately, theyre great

    Yeah, I’ll have to see what I can do. I didn’t have anyone to toss with at the time, but maybe I can string some together (or find some people who’d be willing to help me at the summer camp I’m working at currently).

    Glad the workouts are helping. Keep in mind you can improvise your own stuff too–just make a plan and do it. Sometimes you’ll kick your ass and overdo it, but that’s a good thing–all part of the learning process.
