I started this blog way back in September 2005–after a summer of intense blog exploration and throwing practice every day, and going into my sophomore year and first on a college A team, I felt compelled to dive into the blogosphere and use it to chart and guide my progress as a player.

Over the years I slowly started writing more and more for an audience outside of my friends, until finally, after wrapping up a solid run at nationals with Dartmouth my senior year (’08), I dedicated more fully to writing down what I’ve learned.

There are some good resources out there for beginning ultimate players, and likewise there’s a lot of great high-level advice from elite players; I seek to bridge the gap between the two.

I hope this proves to be a helpful resource for players who, like me, strive for excellence on the ultimate field (and off).

Where to Start?

  • If this is your first time here, I’d suggest starting with the overview category to get an idea of some of the topics I’ve covered, or with the the popular posts in the sidebar.
  • I’d also recommend exploring topics by category, either using the navigation above or in the sidebar.
  • You might also find it worthwhile to subscribe to the site ‘s RSS feed, follow me on Twitter, or E-mail updates, which will update you automatically without having to check the site itself.
